While doing research on this Southern State we came across a ton of  warm and inviting venues. From lovely plantain homes to upscale restaurants offering a full package. Our Alabama winner was Alys Stephens Center, a world-class performing arts center on the campus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Home to the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, the Departments of Music and Theatre, and other local arts organizations, the center also presents its own season, bringing the world’s brightest performers to Birmingham.
