On the Dot!

Everyone loves the polka dot! A classic look that will never go out of style! Hey - polka
dots might even make your dinner look more sassy! We love Kate Spade's home
collection - so many adorable things! Well, we prety much love everything that Kate has!
We also found Rosanna Inc. whose collections are handcrafted in a Mexican village,
each piece is individually mouth blown, hand etched and sandblasted with distinctively
Rosanna patterns … modern, yet comfortingly familiar. A little chunkier and a little bit
funkier, we love Rosanna's take on dots too!

Target's Club Wedd
Check out Target's Club Wedd! It's a great way to register for the things that you need
and well, the things that you want! Registering for gifts can be fun and exciting, but it can
also be a bit of a chore.
Here are my Top Five Tips on Registering for gifts:
1. Register Early
Do this shortly after you get engaged, but before you get involved with all the wedding
planning. You will still be super excited and won't feel stressed about getting it done
later.
2. Take Inventory at Home
Take note of what you already have and what you want. This is a good time to ask your
guy what he wants or needs. Play fair, they are his gifts too!
3. Register for What you Want
Be sure to put all the things that you want on your registry. Feel free to include whatever
you love, be it electronics, bedding, pots and pans, appliances, or even camping equipment.
Just make sure that they are things that you will actually use. (Do you really think you will
use a bread maker or a 12 piece set of fine china?)
4. Cover All Price Points and Register Online
Make several choices in gifts that under $50, under $75, under $100, under $200 and
beyond so all of your guests can choose the gift that they can afford. Spread the word
that you are registered online. Guests will appreciate that they can order your gifts from
home and get them shipped to you early!
5. Mind Your Manners!
Be sure to get those thank you notes out ASAP! If you receive a gift before the wedding,
be sure to send a thank you note out within two weeks. For gifts that are received on the
wedding day, be sure to get those thank you notes sent out one month after you return
from your honeymoon!
Happy Registering!
So So Stylish
Cecil Beaton the original arbiter of pen-and ink poises, the British born artist made his
name as a lensman and costume set designer but he also left a legacy of fabulous floral
textile designs, reissued by Beaudessert. The patterns where created in 1948 for haute
couture, but Beaudesert's cottons, silks and wallpapers are for home use. We love the
use of roses and pansies (they remind of us of Betsy Johnson for the home)!
